Delina Abadi is an Associate Program Officer for the Helmsley Charitable Trust’s Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) Program. An international development professional, she has experience in project consultancy and research, focusing on low-and-middle income counties. Delina brings rich experience from her work in Ethiopia as a Research Consultant with the Hilton Foundation and the University of Oxford where she specialized in supportive interventions for refugees and internally displaced persons (IDPs) through her research and policy brief write-ups.
Delina is a distinction graduate from Oklahoma State University with a Master of Science in global studies with a focus on trade, and she holds a B.A. in international relations with a concentration on development from Lawrence University. In her personal time, she likes to hike, travel, enjoy good food, and go to art shows.
