Deniz Dalton is a Program Officer for the Helmsley Charitable Trust’s Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) Program. In this role, Deniz works predominantly in identifying new T1D technology and device initiatives, providing analysis and due diligence of potential grantees, as well as monitoring and managing the existing glucose control portfolio grants. Furthermore, Deniz’s background in budget management allows her to assist the T1D Program Director in maintaining and planning the overall T1D program grant budget.
Deniz has been with Helmsley’s T1D Program over five years. Prior to her role in Helmsley, she accumulated over 10 years of experience in commercial real estate and brings strong project management, contract negotiation, organizational, analytical, and networking skills to the T1D team. She has a M.S. in real estate development from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in urban and regional planning from Istanbul Technical University.
