Eric Strothmann is a Grants Associate at the Helmsley Charitable Trust, where he works closely with program staff and the Grants Management department to support the effective planning and execution of the Trust’s grantmaking initiatives.

He began his career in fine arts and commercial photography, while dedicating his free time to volunteer work with mission-driven organizations focused on green business, LGBTQ asylum, and other social impact causes. Before joining Helmsley, he worked as a litigation paralegal at a defense firm in the Bay Area.

Eric holds a bachelor’s degree in Visual Communications from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Outside of work, he enjoys cycling, hiking, and traveling with friends and family.
