Jennifer Dickinson is a Grants Manager at the Helmsley Charitable Trust. Jenn manages all aspects of grantmaking operations and compliance across Helmsley’s programs, including staff training, internal and external technical assistance, maintaining the Fluxx foundation grantmaking system and participating in process improvement initiatives to ensure a seamless grantmaking process.
Jenn brings over 15 years of public sector and nonprofit experience to Helmsley. Prior to joining Helmsley, Jenn was a capacity building consultant at KrasnePlows, where she assisted nonprofits with strategic planning projects, financial analyses, and mergers and collaborations. Prior to KrasnePlows, she was a senior associate at Nonprofit Finance Fund, providing strategic financial analyses and financial management workshops to mid-Atlantic nonprofits. Jenn began her career as a New York City Urban Fellow placed at the NYPD Office of Management Analysis and Planning, and later worked on legislative and special projects in the Commissioner’s Office of the Department of Citywide Administrative Services.
Jenn graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in politics from Princeton University. She holds a Master in Public Administration, with a specialization in finance, from the Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service at New York University. Jenn is an active volunteer and board member with nonprofit organizations in Jersey City, NJ.
