Kevin Willits is a Grants Manager at the Helmsley Charitable Trust. In this role, Kevin collaborates with the Grants Management team to support programs across the full lifecycle of grantmaking to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.

Kevin brings over 15 years of experience in the nonprofit and education sectors. Prior to joining Helmsley, Kevin served as the grantmaking operations manager at Access Now, where he helped build a small grants program by leading the development of policies, processes, and systems related to grants management and compliance. From the inception of the program, Kevin oversaw the disbursement of over 350 grants to organizations in over 50 countries. Kevin also previously served as a grants manager at Columbia University and as a program officer at the Institute of International Education.

Kevin holds a bachelor’s degree from Northeastern University and a master’s degree from the London School of Economics. Outside of work, Kevin enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, and attending concerts.
