Dr. Maryaline Coffre is a Program Officer for the Helmsley Charitable Trust’s Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) Program. She helps to oversee a biomedical research grant portfolio that identifies and invests in promising therapies for T1D.

Prior to joining Helmsley, Maryaline was a research scientist at NYU Langone Health, where her research focused on the development and function of immune cells. She has also conducted research at the Pasteur Institute, France, and at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital among other institutions.

Maryaline earned a Ph.D. in immunology and a Master of Science in genetics from University of Paris, France.
