Mike Smith is an Investment Officer at the Helmsley Charitable Trust. He is responsible for operational due diligence and investment operations.
Prior to joining Helmsley, Mike spent eight years at Aon where he was responsible for due diligence and monitoring of private credit and hedge funds on behalf of Aon’s OCIO and advisory clients. Previously, he was a portfolio manager at UBP Asset Management where he was involved in portfolio construction of the firm’s fund of hedge fund products for ten years. Early in his career, he worked in fund administration at CITCO, Alliance Bernstein, and Lord Abbett.
Mike received both an MBA and a B.S. in accounting from Rutgers University.
