Natalie Andrews is a Communications Associate who supports Helmsley’s New York City, Israel, Rural Healthcare, and Vulnerable Children in Sub-Saharan Africa programs. She works in close coordination with the Communications Officer and program colleagues to create digital content that supports program priorities and strategies.
Prior to joining Helmsley, Natalie taught 8th grade history in New York City public charter schools. As an educator, she designed engaging classes on topics ranging from WWII to mental health. She previously interned on Senator Elizabeth Warren’s Communications Team, where she researched complex legal issues and crafted concise explanations for public consumption. Additionally, she produced and managed social content for Harvard University’s Poetry in America.
Natalie holds a B.A. in history from Brown University. She lives in Brooklyn with her cat, many books, and a large amount of soon-to-be-knitted yarn.
