Ronald Seetaram is a Grants Associate at the Helmsley Charitable Trust. In this role, Ronald collaborates with program staff and the Grants Management department to effectively plan and execute Helmsley’s grantmaking processes.
Prior to joining Helmsley, Ronald served as a grants administrator at Weill Cornell Medical College, a top-ranked medical and graduate school. In this role, he was responsible for all grants and financial management functions for his portfolio of primary investigators. This includes managing pre and post-award activities. Prior to Weil Cornell, Ronald served as an accountant at Sesame Workshop, where he and Elmo became fast friends. Earlier in his career, he worked at KPMG as a tax and grants associate, where he provided a wide range of support to large nonprofit and foundation clients.
During his downtime, Ronald (sometimes) enjoys being a die-hard Mets, Manchester United, and Knicks fan, traveling and trying different cuisines, and volunteering at Junior Achievement. Recently, Ronald has taken up learning the piano, although, it is a definite work in progress.
