Scott Brodeur

Dr. Scott Brodeur is the Program Director of the Helmsley Charitable Trust’s Crohn’s Disease Program.
Prior to joining Helmsley, he was Executive Director of Discovery Pharmacology at Third Arc Bio. With a broad background in therapeutic discovery and autoimmune disease, including support of Crohn’s Disease, his responsibilities included in vitro and in vivo profiling of lead candidates for both the Immunology and Oncology portfolios. In addition to these responsibilities, he developed the therapeutic strategy for the discovery Immunology portfolio. Previously, he was at J&J Innovative Medicines as Senior Director of Exploratory Biology Platforms, as well as scientific positions at Bristol Myers-Squibb and Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals.
Scott graduated from McGill University in Montreal Canada with a B.Sc. in Biochemistry, received his PhD from Tufts University Graduate School of Biomedical Science in Boston MA, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Immunology, Immune Deficiency and Allergy at Boston Children’s Hospital under the guidance of Dr. Raif Geha. He has standing membership in the American Association of Immunology, NY Academy of Science and FOCIS.
