Dr. Terry Felton is a Program Officer for the Helmsley Charitable Trust’s Crohn’s Disease Program. In this role, Terry oversees the disease management grants portfolio and helps identify and evaluate new initiatives focused on access to care, provider education, and monitoring technologies.
Prior to his current role, Terry was an Associate Program Officer supporting the diagnostics portfolio of grants that aim to identify, validate, and develop biomarkers in Crohn’s disease, as well as diagnostic tools and devices. Before joining Helmsley, Terry was a graduate student at the University College London where he identified genes that regulate neuronal specification.
Terry earned his Ph.D. in Cell and Developmental Biology from the University College London and a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Xavier University of Louisiana. Terry’s hobbies include cooking, camping, and watching American and European Football.
