The Jamestown Sun recently highlighted the opening of a cancer treatment facility in the Jamestown Regional Medical Center. Instead of traveling daily and spending time away from home and family in far-away facilities, the center will provide convenient access to quality care for patients in the area. Rural Healthcare Program Officer Elizabeth Ruen spoke at the ribbon cutting ceremony on June 13, announcing that the Helmsley Charitable Trust awarded $500,000 to the Center, allowing it to open debt free.
